Core activities of the Museum are funded through the City of Vancouver and other funding agencies but many new projects need additional support to make them happen. These include new exhibitions, special events, programs and many interpretation activities. Corporate sponsors are vital to the success of the Vancouver Maritime Museum - we could not continue to provide the high quality exhibits and educational programs without the generous support of the corporate community.
Sponsorship Benefits
Here are just a few of the ways that it is possible for the Maritime Museum to reciprocate for and organization's sponsorship of program, exhibits and events:
- Increase public awareness of your involvement in the community and support of the educational and historical programs of the Vancouver Maritime Museum.

- Exclusive sponsorship of event, exhibition or program
- Sponsorship recognition displayed on the Museum's sponsor/donor recognition board and specific acknowledgement on all print and digital promotional materials, in advertising and on press releases. Materials could include rack cards, posters, exhibit program, reception invitations, program flyers, Museum newsletter, and more. Recognition will also be included in the Museum's newsletter, annual report, visitor handouts and other materials as appropriate.
- Sponsorship will be acknowledged on the Museum's website and a reciprocal website link will be provided.
- The Vancouver Maritime Museum is home to one of Vancouver's most unique facilities for business meetings, trade shows, receptions and employee events. Depending on the level of sponsorship, rental of the Museum or rental of a part of the Museum, or a discount on rental is provided as part of the sponsorship.
