Ex-Forest Service Vessel Rendezvous 2015

Vancouver maritime museum heritage Harbour

Saturday, August 1st and Sunday, August 2nd, 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm

Starting in 1912, the BC Forest Service’s fleet of ‘Ranger launches’ was used by Rangers to patrol and police logging operations on BC’s coast. Today’s private owners of these vessels are now custodians of a living piece of BC’s coastal heritage.

Join the Ex-Forest Service Vessel Squadron vessels and their owners and crews at the Vancouver Maritime Museum’s Heritage Harbour for their 2015 Rendezvous. The public is invited to visit and learn about each vessel’s own unique history, and its integral part of British Columbia’s maritime heritage! Squadron members will also be at the Maritime Museum with a historical exhibit to share with the public.

Gear up for this year’s Rendezvous by watching “Against the Tide” part 1 and part 2, a colourful sixteen minute video of the 1995 Squadron Rendezvous at the Vancouver Maritime Museum.
